About Our Curriculum Developer

JLMP’s founder, Michelle Person, has been an educator for over 20 years. She is a former Teach For America corps member, an intervention specialist, a principal, educational consultant, a children’s author, a speaker, and a mom. Her goals with JLM Presents are to create workshops and develop resources so organizations are able to increase their access to culturally reflective teaching materials made available to parents, teachers, and community groups.
